Title VII

SWCS is a Not-for-Profit Christian organization. Christian faith in an applicant is a prerequisite for employment, based upon federal guidelines provided in Title VII.

Statement of Faith

  1. I believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are God's inerrant word and are the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  2. I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; co-equal but distinct in personalities, who is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom and measureless in power; who concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men. (Deut. 6:4, Mark 12:29, Ps. 90:2, Rev. 4:8)
  3. I believe that God created the heavens and the earth and continues to hold them together. (Gen. 1:1, Acts 17:24, Col. 1:16-17, Heb. 1:3)
  4. I believe that God created man after His own image, but man, of his own will, sinned and is forever separated from God, but those, and only those, who accept Christ as Lord and Savior shall become children of God, no longer separated from Him. (Gen. 1:27, Gen. 3:16-19, Titus 3:5-6, Rom. 5:12-18, Acts 4:12)
  5. I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father where He intercedes for His children, and His imminent, bodily return from heaven. (John 1:1, Matt. 1:23, Luke 1:26-33, 2Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15, 1Pet. 2:24, 1John 2:2, 1Cor. 15:3-8, Acts 1:9, Matt. 24:30)
  6. I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (John 14:16-17)
  7. I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ .(John 10:16, Eph. 4:4-6)
