Daycare Position:

Qualifications:

1. Be one who has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
2. Be a member in good standing of an evangelical church.
3. Exhibit a positive Biblical role model at all times.
4. At least one year of experience in childcare centers with children birth to five years of age.
5. Be a person of spiritual maturity with academic and leadership skills.
6. Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification, TB skin test, and HIV/AIDS training.

Responsibilities:

Spiritual:

1. Seek to role model in attitude, speech and actions, maintaining a consistent walk with Jesus Christ.

Professional:

1. Supervise children assigned by director.
2. Be cooperative with those in charge and co-workers.
3. Show good judgment in dealing with children and follow through on suggestions.
4. Use resource material.
5. Respect, understand, and accept children.
6. Provide a warm, safe, age appropriate environment that is orderly, clean, appealing, and permits the child to grow and explore.

Personal:

1. Demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.
2. Meet everyday stress with emotional stability, objectivity, and optimism.
3. Develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff by treating others with friendliness, dignity, and consideration.
4. Respectfully submit and be loyal to constituted authority.
5. Maintain a personal appearance that is a role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste, and in agreement with school policy.
