Daycare Position:
Daycare Lead Teacher: Full time position at Sylvan Way Christian Schools Daycare. The teacher shall provide a warm, safe, nurturing and loving, quality environment where self- concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged, and individuality respected. The teacher will be a role model of Christian attitudes and actions for both the children and other staff. Qualifications:
- Be one who has received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Be a member in good standing of an evangelical church.
- Exhibit a positive Biblical role model at all times.
- At least one year of experience in childcare centers with children birth to five years of age.
- Be a person of spiritual maturity with academic and leadership skills.
- Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification, TB skin test, and HIV/AIDS training.

- Seek to role model in attitude, speech and actions, maintaining a consistent walk with Jesus Christ.
Professional:
- Supervise children assigned by director.
- Be cooperative with those in charge and co-workers.
- Show good judgment in dealing with children and follow through on suggestions.

- Respect, understand, and accept children.
- Provide a warm, safe, age appropriate environment that is orderly, clean, appealing, and permits the child to grow and explore.
Personal:
- Demonstrate the character qualities of enthusiasm, courtesy, flexibility, integrity, gratitude, kindness, self-control, perseverance, and punctuality.
- Meet everyday stress with emotional stability, objectivity, and optimism.
