Summer Safari

Sylvan Way Christian School offers a 9 week day camp to assist parents by providing a safe, secure environment of social interaction, community experiences and enjoyable opportunities for their children in an atmosphere where Biblical values are lived and taught.

Children entering grades 1 through 6 are supervised not only by staff, but by Christian young people who have a desire to mentor those younger than themselves.

Field trips change from year to year. This years trips include Museum of Flight, Pacific Science Center, Dungeness Spit, Great Escape, Family Fun Center, Vertical World, Odyssey One, Camp-out at Fort Warden, Pt. Defiance Zoo, area State Parks and Tacoma Rainiers baseball. See "Activities" for a complete listing.

The director and staff of this program plan and implement activities that are specific to the children's age and interests. They provide a family-like atmosphere where each child is valued, loved and cared for.
